YOU ARE NOT LAZY, UNMOTIVATED, OR BROKEN. AFTER YEARS OF LIVING YOUR LIFE IN SURVIVAL MODE...YOU ARE EXHAUSTED.
As a therapist, I am dedicated to helping individuals who want to repair or reconcile relationships with family. I provide a non-judgmental and caring space for you to feel heard and supported. I have worked with families for 24 years. "Regardless of how a family comes together one common theme emerges: the need for connection and love." When connection and love aren't present it can lead to attachment issues (struggling with forming healthy relationships), depression (feeling isolated, shame, low self-esteem) & anxiety (excessive worry, fear & avoidance behaviors). When individuals are abused or neglected, they may develop complex PTSD or PTSD. These breaks in connection create wounds. If wounds are not resolved we may be hurt more or unintentionally hurt others. Relationships take work, insight, knowledge, and courage. If that was not modeled or taught to us, we will likely need the support of someone who can walk alongside us as we process our journey.
